HD Quicky

Another square for the Love Quilts UK. Managed to finish this one last night so that is another of the "bits" out of the way. It is taken from the same DMC Patchwork Animals book that the sheep came from.

This morning I have kitted up a couple of things, put some threads on bobbins, packed the squares for LQ ready for posting, put some threads away. tidied up my den, put some washing in and now Im off to hang it out before going to Mums. Lol also been nattering on MSN and then I wonder why I don't get more stitching done.

LOVE the word nattering...I think I'm going to put it in my regular daily vocabulary! LOVE it! And I think it is something that I do too much too!

  5. What a cute little yellow patchwork kitty!

I'm with Vonna...I like the word "nattering". I've not heard that one before...I'll have to add that to my imaginary list of cool slang words from other countries. :-)

  10. Thanks so much for your kind words Helen!
Sometimes it seemed like it took 38 years to finish it but in reality I think it was about 5 or 6 months to finish it. The kit however was 38 years old.
I love the work you do. It is all so different! I never know what sort of project you will be pulling out next!

  11. Hi Helen,

What a cute face! I'm sure the kitty will bring happiness to the person who receives this as part of their "Love Quilt".
